Waxing for Men and Women

For intimate areas, options include our basic bikini wax, high bikini, Brazilian and Hollywood treatments. We also wax the legs, arms, underarms, face, stomach and other areas, so several treatments can be combined into the same visit where suitable.

For intimate appointments, your therapist will check what you want removed before starting. You don’t need to worry about knowing all the terminology beforehand.

We also offer men’s waxing for clients travelling from Archway and surrounding North London areas.

Treatments include the back, chest, shoulders, arms and legs, as well as men’s intimate waxing such as sack and crack and Boyzilian treatments. Full-body waxing is also available.

I could not rate LuxWax highly enough.
I enjoyed a few treatments with Karolina and Gail. They are exceptional! Whether it is electrolysis, laser, waxing or facial, their personal touch is nothing I have ever experienced to this level. Have had a few electrolysis treatments so far with Karolina and already seeing a huge difference!
I have PCOS and was skeptical about getting good results for facial hair removal, but she's been great and reassuring every step of the way and the results have been unbelievable.
I'm normally so anxious about going to salons or similar, but I felt welcomed and safe and Karolina is so kind that I felt completely comfortable. If you're on the fence about electrolysis, I highly recommend going in for a patch test/consultation here because it's a real life changer!

LOVE this place! I found this beautiful salon just by walking past in Hampstead — and I’m so glad I did! I used to travel all the way into Central London for my waxing appointments, which was so time-consuming. Having LuxWax on my doorstep is such a game changer.
Mel was my therapist and she was absolutely amazing — welcoming, professional, and incredibly skilled. The waxing was practically painless (which I didn’t think was possible!) and the results were incredible. I felt completely comfortable and looked after from start to finish.

I have been using Luxwax for years, initially just for waxing and over the last 18months for laser as well. I cannot rate them highly enough. I have seen various therapists over the time I have been going there and they have all been great. More recently I have been going to Gail and Oxana. I had Mel today for laser and waxing she was excellent as well. They all have such attention to detail, they are efficient but also take it at your pace and check in with you to make sure you’re ok throughout. Not to mention, the results from the laser and waxing have been great. No reactions and lasting results. It is a beautiful salon. Very clean. Fab facilities. I started my permanent hair removal journey with Luxwax 15 months ago. I was unsure whether laser or electrolysis was the right answer for me. I had an exploratory telephone consultation with Gail and was impressed with her level of knowledge, complete honesty and professional specialisation. Gail advised me on pursuing electrolysis as a permanent solution and I can honestly say that I have been very impressed with the results. I was really worried about scarring and other possible skin damage that is generally reported as the downside to electrolysis performed by inexperienced therapists. Thankfully, Gail is so skilled that none of this has been an issue. In addition, Gail is able to confidently and safely work on larger surface areas at a high pace therefore maximising appointment time. Electrolysis does require commitment and consistency - Gail was great at educating me upfront and making sure I understood the practicalities involved - but the results have been totally worth it for me. My only regret is not to have started much much earlier in life!

Booked via Google Maps for Heath Street, but appointment was actually at another location not listed in their system. Had to take a £15, 25-minute Uber after arriving on time. Simona called saying she would leave in 5 minutes despite the mix-up.

When I arrived, she said my hair was too short (just under 1 cm) but rushed through the wax anyway. Then she tried to charge extra for Lycon wax, even though I’d already paid £48 (more than the listed £43 full leg with Lycon).

Only after calling Gail was the charge waived and a credit added. Overall: unclear booking system, and stressful service. Wouldn’t return unless they fix these issues. Given the great reviews of Gail at the Heath street location, I would give this salon one more try and amend the review.

Our therapists regularly carry out intimate waxing for both women and men.

Hygiene is taken seriously. We don’t double-dip waxing applicators. Treatment beds have disposable coverings and therapists wear gloves during waxing appointments.

Preparing for Your Waxing Appointment

Allow your hair to grow before your appointment rather than shaving immediately beforehand. Ideally, there needs to be enough growth for the wax to grip the hair effectively.

Come to your appointment with clean skin and avoid applying heavy creams or oils to the area being treated beforehand. Loose clothing is usually more comfortable afterwards, particularly after intimate or larger-area waxing.

Your skin may feel warm or sensitive and appear slightly red immediately afterwards. For the first 24 hours, it’s sensible to avoid activities and products that could aggravate freshly waxed skin, including heavily fragranced skincare and excessive heat.

Your therapist will give you aftercare advice specific to the area you’ve had treated.

Driving: Around 8 to 10 minutes from Archway.
